Knows shit about hard rock..

Recently I went through the horror of seeing the "VH1 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock." I know that all have different opinions on whos the best and whos not. But EVERYTIME there is a countdown of this type its ALWAYS LED ZEPPLIN at number 1. Now dont get me wrong Led Zepplin are great one of the best ever, BUT they arent the best nor should they be reguarded as so ALL THE TIME on every countdown. Once in a while is fine, but I dont think that everyone can think that they are so good for so long. They just arent. Now whos better you ask? Not necessarily better but alot more influential, Black Sabbath. They were a lot more influential on "Metal" as we know it today. Many more of todays artists give thanks to Ozzy and Black Sabbath than they do Zepplin. Zepplin was heavy but wasnt as dark and gloomy as Sabbath. I believe that Sabbath started heavy metal as we know today and Zepplin had more of an influence on "Hair metal". The sound was a lot "prittier" but was still driven bby fast hard guitar. It was still not mainstream, but was still kind of acceptable in some right. Now whats the point of all of this? IM SICK OF THE BETTER BANDS GETTING DIS-RESPECTED! Some of my favorite bands, and some of the higher quality bands werent as high as the should be.
