I haven't written for awhile, mainly because I have a girlfriend now. Not that it's a bad thing , but I just don't have as much free time. Anyways, I have some ideas on how to spice up the site a little. First, we will have a music section that contains the normal cd and concert reviews, but also has other music-themed essays and lists. It will also have links to cool bands and other music sites. Secondly, the main sidebar will be changed to be a little more user-friendly. No more seperate headings for everything. I will also put in a link to site news, which will be for stuff like this, instead of wasting a whole front page post like I'm doing now. I think that's about it...

I couldn't bring myself to just post about how I'm gonna change the site, so here's a little response to Ken's post on what we should be doing with the terrorist POW's.

First off, let me say I'm not a tree-hugger like you might think. I know, I'd like everyone to live by the principle of "Give Peace A Chance" but I know that can't work because humans are too greedy and stupid. Secondly, I don't know much about world politics and don't care to. As far as I'm concerned, let's blow the shit out of each other, maybe we'll learn our lesson this time around...

With that said, here are some thoughts. I understand totally that what they did was inhumane and uncalled for. It was an atrocity, plain and simple. But if we're nice, moral people like we should claim to be, what people are we to treat the POW's inhumanely. Does that not make us as bad as them? An eye for an eye leaves the world blind, whether you want to believe that or not, you blood-hungry assholes. And you know what? I would be able to say that to a widow's face. You know why? Because all the death and destruction of the terrorists isn't going to bring that dead person back. There will be no closure, so now that we bombed the hell out of Afghanistan, we can cut with the vengence bullshit (that is, against the POW's... we still need to find Bin Laden). I'm not saying we need to pamper these guys, but we should treat them like any other prisoner. They shouldn't get special treatment either way, whether it be good OR bad.

Now, to say why they won't be impaling any Taliban fighters on the Washington Momument. Do that, and you make martyrs out of them. Teach them a lesson...pfft. We can't communicate with them, remember? The only to stop them is to kill them, right? So, to kill some POW's isn't going to make a difference, it's only gonna piss the other side off more. Which is just what we need...
