Before I begin this little rant of mine, I’m going to let you know of my credentials.

K4-1st grade was spent in a Catholic school. Every day for first grade, I was made to go to church. Not exactly what a 1st grader wants to do in the morning. Then from 2nd grade until the middle of 5th grade I went to public school. My mom didn’t see a problem with the public school system until my little hard-headed ass got into one too many fights. Then from 5th grade until 11th I was back in Catholic school. This time however I was only made to go to church on Thursdays in grade school, and while in high school we had “gatherings” on religious holidays. Now this is way more religion than most have experienced. And no one should unless they are fully willing to, and not just told to do so.

Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to talk about the current scandal in the Catholic Church. It seems that more and more priests are being exposed for being pedophiles. Now, thankfully, I can’t speak from experience on this subject. What I will talk about however, is how I’m let down by the church. Now I know all of you anti-religious people are ready to pounce on me. “I told you man Catholics are fucked.” I’m not speaking of all priests in the church of course. I’m speaking of the ones who are taking advantage of people, and their beliefs in God. It sickens me to the core. What's even worse is that when all of the Cardinals had their meeting in Rome, they refused to have a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy, when it comes to these disgusting people. That is the most disturbing part of this whole ordeal. Why shouldn’t there be a zero-tolerance policy? Because they are men of God? I don’t know what God they are praying to, but I know for a fact that my God wouldn’t want these miscreants being in his church and going un-punished. The cardinals said that they are going to go after “repeat” offenders. While I admit, that is a start, but there is no reason why they can’t go after all of these sick freaks and get them out of the churches and into jail cells where they belong. Then they can get all the sodomy they can handle. And in there, God can’t save them...
